A carved stone outside Founders Hall on Bartholomew Passage, off Cloth Fair, London marks an enduring testament to the Founders Company's rich heritage. The stone serves as a proud representation of their coat of arms, originally placed atop the earlier incarnation of Founders Hall. Following its disappearance in the 19th century, the stone was rediscovered in the 21st century at a garden center and subsequently returned to its current home. The Founders Company is a medieval guild dedicated to artisans skilled in casting small objects from brass, such as intricately crafted candlesticks and precise weights and measures. Founded centuries ago, this esteemed guild has played a vital role in preserving traditional craftsmanship. A special thank you goes out to Leo, the Beadle of Founders Hall, for his invaluable assistance in unraveling the fascinating history surrounding the stone. In March 2019, 131 photographs were taken using a Sony a6000 camera and processed through Agisoft Metashape software.
