The Roman Temple of Evora is one of Portugal's most iconic national emblems. The temple was built in the 1st century AD on the main square (forum) of Evora, known as Liberalitas Julia. A historic photograph, printed in black and white, belongs to the museum's collection but remains unsigned and lacks a known author.
