Foster Kittens!

On a Wednesday night I brought home a litter of five foster kittens and their mom from the Humane Society of Silicon Valley. The babies are currently around three to four weeks old and are fully engaged in mastering their balance skills while having lots of fun playing. They're initially terrified of heights and being picked up, but they're gradually becoming more courageous every day. The smallest kitten weighs 14 ounces, while the largest one tips the scales at 1 pound, 1 ounce. This model was created by capturing a quick video with my iPhone, extracting frames from it using VLC, and then incorporating the photos into RealityCapture. It's not the most refined model in the world, but it could very well be the best I'll ever manage to capture of five high-energy kittens at once. Towards the end of the 50-second recording they began to realize someone was watching them - their eyes opened wide, and their ears perked up - so I stopped the video.
