Fossilogic Ceratosaurus Skull
sketchfab
This is a detailed scan of the Ceratosaurus skull mount, generously provided by Fossilogic in Pleasant Grove, Utah. Process: A high-resolution photograph was captured using a Nikon D850 camera paired with the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G ED Lens, both set to capture 14-bit camera raw data. The Camranger 2 remote allowed for precise control over the shooting process. In Lightroom and Photoshop, the images underwent extensive processing to enhance their quality. Next, the scan was segmented, thoroughly cleaned, and decimated in Zbrush using EZremesh and Polygroupit plugins to optimize its digital representation. To further refine the model, retopology was performed using 3DS max, followed by map baking in Marmoset Toolbag to produce a highly detailed and accurate digital replica of the Ceratosaurus skull mount.
