Fossil of Cetacean Juvenile Caudal Vertebrae

This is a fossilized caudal vertebrae from an ancient cetacean that lived millions of years ago. The animal was still growing because its epiphysis has not yet formed. Estimated age of the fossil is between 5-7 million years old. It was discovered along the banks of the Siret river in Botosani county, Romania by Emanuel Gavriliuc, a radiology imaging specialist at Spitaful Hospital. The CT scan used to create this model was provided by Emanuel Gavriliuc, who can be found on Thingiverse as emi83ro. To print this accurately, use 200% resolution or an SLA printer. If you successfully print the fossil, please share a photo and check out my other designs of skulls and bones at http://www.thingiverse.com/dricketts/designs.
