A Mesohippus right fore foot, preserved with restored flesh, originates from Oligocene White River deposits in Nebraska or Dakota. Dr. Franek Hasiuk's GeoFabLab (Department of Geological and Atmospheric Sciences, Iowa State University) scanned this fossil using the MakerBot Digitizer Desktop 3D Scanner on "Light" setting from a model identified as "1585 Yale C. 11311".
