The source of the "Forzbachls" is a popular outing destination for young and old. In the spring of 1932, the source of the "Forzbachls" was enclosed by Mr. Weißbach, a Thalheimer citizen, after hard work. The local group of the Cultural Association of the GDR redesigned the area in 1976. This well water has been sought after since the 1930s for the traditional Easter egg-hunting ritual. According to tradition, washing with this water on Easter morning before sunrise will bring eternal beauty. Drinking a coffee made with Easter water is said to bring good luck all year round. However, no words may be spoken from the source to there. An analysis of the water shows that it does not meet official drinking water standards, but a hike with a break at this popular spot in the forest between Thalheim and Jahnsdorf is worth it any time of year.
