Forward Airfield Control Tower - 28mm

Forward Airfield Control Tower - 28mm

thingiverse

I was informed I had incorrectly reflected the main building roof and the support gussets didn't align properly. I have revised the file. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, and my apologies to anyone who may have cursed me earlier; sorry about the mistake. This is a 28mm representation of a forward airfield control tower. I enjoy scenarios with some background story, and thought a raid on an airfield by, say the LRDG in the Western Desert, or the SAS in northern Europe, or Brandenburgers behind allied lines might be of interest. I didn't want a concrete control tower, as you would find at an airfield in the UK or in Germany; instead I wanted a building that looked like it was thrown up by some field engineers in a few days. The roofs are detachable. I created the sign to the left of the front door by printing off a generic unit logo and applying it to the wall. The images are of the test print, I did modify the file for better fit and balance, with some more detail than shown here. Please respect the conditions of the license for this file. Please contact me if you require a variance and we can discuss it. Thanks
