FORTNITE: DRAGONFIRE The 'Fortnite: Dragonfire' is a project designed in Technopolis, a Belgian science center, by Randy Geerts and Neel Boone. The goal was to design a gun based on the popular Fortnite game that could actually be used to play the game. The result is a wooden MDF model made with our lasercutter and an arduino leonardo as it's brain. Check out our Youtube link to see it in action. EXTRA INFORMATION: We designed the model in millimeter. The model is made from 3mm thick MDF glued together with wood glue. In the PDF included you'll find the order to glue the layers in, take the '0' part and connect it with the '1' part, then the '2' part, ... for the other halve of the gun u do exactly the same, but mirrored. You will need to laser the (dxf) or (svg) file twice to make both haves of the model, the '0' part you'll only need once. To finish the model you can add all the little details by using the photo's as a reference. We made the muzzle of the gun with a milling machine, but can be easily be replaced with a piece MDF that u sand down into a cylindric shape. By sanding and breaking the corners your model will look extra good. *** We will be adding the adruino parts list and code later.
