Forth Worth skyline
thingiverse
This is a to-scale replica of downtown Fort Worth, accurately represented by its roads: W Belknap St, Jones St, W 7th St, and Bernett St. The entire cityscape is printed as one cohesive piece, then carefully attached to a sturdy 3/4" hand-cut walnut wood base that adds stability and a touch of craftsmanship to the model. Each building was meticulously modeled individually to guarantee precision, requiring an enormous amount of work but ensuring an exact replica of downtown Fort Worth. The scale is set at 1:5080, where every 1 inch represents 423 feet in real life (1 millimeter equals 16.6 feet). The tallest structure in this Fort Worth skyline is the D.R. Horton Tower, also known as City Center Tower II; it stands at an impressive 547 feet tall, equivalent to a mere 1.3 inches in this model (~33 millimeters).
