I designed this to minimize disruption from my desk lamp, ensuring it wouldn't disturb my coworker. The M3 nut and bolt used in its construction play a key role in this. ESSENTIAL: When creating the defuser, employ a semi-transparent filament - I opted for neutral HIPS. The level of diffusion achieved will be directly influenced by the thickness you give to the defuser component. To achieve the desired effect, I halted the print after just two layers had been completed. Additionally, the pattern chosen will significantly impact how the light passes through.
