UPDATE at bottom...\nThis remix is tailored for the TrackStar 1/18th Scale 12T Brushless Power System (5050kv). The Pinion Gear and Wheel Axle Holder Right are compatible with this motor. A M3 nut and M3 screw (either a headless screw or a longer screw where the head will clear the motor mounts) are required for the Pinion Gear. I also added a M3 washer and M3 lock washer to secure it.http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__42801__TrackStar_1_18th_Scale_12T_Brushless_power_System_5050kv_USA_warehouse_.html\nNinja Flex tires work best with 2 perimeters, 2 top and bottom layers, and 10 to 15% infill.\nLow profile rims (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1103751) and tires (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1274262) were printed to minimize Ninja Flex usage. \nReinforced remixes for both wings were printed after the originals broke at 100% infill (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1343656).\nI highly recommend this micro servo: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__36916__Turnigy_8482_TGY_9018MG_MG_Servo_2_5kg_0_10sec_13g_US_Warehouse_.html\nThe 2 batteries I have are the Turnigy 3300mAh 2S 30C Lipo Pack and the Zippy Flightmax 2100mAh 3S 35C Lipo Pack.\nTurnigy 3300mAh 2S 30C Lipo Pack: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__16594__Turnigy_3300mAh_2S_30C_Lipo_Pack_US_Warehouse_.html\nZippy Flightmax 2100mAh 3S 35C Lipo Pack: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__14978__Zippy_Flightmax_2100mAh_3S_35C_Lipo_Pack_US_Warehouse_.html\n.\n.\n4/01/16 UPDATE: After extensive testing, I now believe the motor has too much torque and speed for the plastic pinion gear (especially with a 2mm motor shaft). The Pinion gear may not last long. Additionally, the provided gears are a mod 1 with a gear ratio of 2.86, which is too aggressive for this setup. I've chosen to replace the pinion gear with a metal 16T, 0.5 mod, available at http://www.amazon.com/Hard-Blackened-Steel-Mini-Pinion/dp/B00JNL5QE2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00. I designed a new spur gear (85T, 0.5 mod) to work with the new pinion gear. This gives a gear ratio of 5.3, which works perfectly! Still plenty of power available.
