Inside this unique setup, you'll find: A pair of 8mm holes connecting the two nests or arenas, allowing for effortless communication between inhabitants. A 10mm hole that serves as another connection point for additional nests or arenas, creating a thriving community. To ensure optimal air circulation and prevent moisture buildup, I've strategically placed three rectangular vent holes - two in the arena and one in the nest. This clever design guarantees a healthy environment for your pets to thrive. In the corner of this magnificent formicarium, you'll discover a vet chamber that's ready to be filled with plaster and water. By doing so, you can easily maintain a humid microclimate within the enclosure. Don't let unused connection holes go to waste! Simply fill them with cotton wool to prevent air leaks or other issues. For added durability and ease of maintenance, consider outfitting your rectangular vent holes with stainless steel mesh. This clever hack will keep your formicarium in top condition for years to come.
