Form Labs Rook Remake
thingiverse
NOTICE: It has come to my attention that the part is woefully undersized (1000x too small) if you intend to print this. I recommend bumping up the scale of this model in your slicer at least 1000% if you plan on printing it out, unless your printer can somehow print at an astonishing .5 micron. Furthermore, I have come to realize that I modeled the part far too small, so I suggest adding a substantial 200% more to the model's dimensions. UPDATE: After adding the bottom circle cutaway and the one on the lower side of the print, it now matches the Formlabs original design almost identically. I created this by carefully studying the sample that Form Labs provides with their Form 2 printer. I thought it would be a fun and challenging project to try and model, so I gave it a shot. This is available for printing if you'd like to put your printer through its paces. Remixes are more than welcome; feel free to create your own model after printing this one and upload it as a remix to compare results. Credit: The original model was based off of the FormLabs Form 2 sample print, so that credit goes to them. I also made sure to add a watermark to the top where they had their original watermark stating that "Designed By FormLabs Re-Created and Printed By Diego Jimenez".
