I've developed a mold for a silicone heat shield on my hotend here. All the forms I've known haven't really fit right.\r\nMy heating block has dimensions of 20 x 16 x 11.5 mm.\r\nAny pourable and heat-resistant two-component silicone can be used as silicone.\r\nTo pour, the orange replica of the heating block is placed in the yellow casing. Then the silicone is filled and closed with blue lids. See picture 1.\r\nI printed the mold with my CTC Bizer using a 0.3 mm nozzle and 0.15 mm layer height.\r\nMy experience has shown that it's cost-effective to scale up the yellow casing by 101%.
