Form 1 Resin Tank Comb

Form 1 Resin Tank Comb

To remove tiny particles floating around in the resin after printing, I built a specialized tool - the resin tank comb. It fits precisely inside the Form 1's resin tank (and also works with the Form 1+). My resin tank comb was inspired by Michael Breitenstein's innovative idea, which he shared on Formlabs' forum: https://forum.formlabs.com/t/comb-designed-for-cleaning-the-resin-tank/4031/. Since my initial print of his design failed due to weak print support, I created my own version. To learn more about the resin tank comb, check out my post on the Formlabs forum at: https://forum.formlabs.com/t/comb-designed-for-cleaning-the-resin-tank/4031/32. The package includes both STL and form files - a convenient way for owners of a Form 1 to start printing immediately. I printed the resin tank comb with high precision, using a layer height of 100 microns (0.1 mm) in white Formlabs resin. To get started with your own print, use the attached STL file - and don't forget that I also included the form file for users with a Form 1(+) for optimal orientation during printing.
