Forked Pumpkin Tongue
thingiverse
I finally got around to trying to print this design, and I'm pleased to say that it turned out well on my printer, despite some initial challenges with the original orientation and supports. I made a few adjustments to improve its printability, including adding more pronounced forks in the tongue, which should help it stick out further from the pumpkin. For this particular print, I found that Cura's waffle type supports worked better than tree supports, which is why I opted for them. My daughter asked me to design a tongue to complement the teeth I already designed and printed for her Jack-O-Lantern (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3166559). Since this tongue needs supports to print, I added them to the STL file. I haven't had a chance to print it yet, but I'll write an update tomorrow when I get around to it. In the meantime, feel free to try resizing it yourself to fit your pumpkin's size and attach it with pins after removing the supports. Hopefully, this design will help make your Jack-O-Lantern look even more spooky!
