fork slider guards for Suzuki GSXR

Making a cafe bike with 2009 GSXR 600 forks and I could not use the stock front fender that is shaped to deflect road debris from hitting the fork sliders, so I modeled these from a steel prototype that a friend of mine helped machine/weld. I printed the first version vertically, but the piece was too weak to resist the wind force/road vibration/bolt torque and it fractured horizontally across the layer line. 2nd attempt had the piece printed on its side with supports. Used a soldering gun to smooth the rough overhangs before covering in filler primer, sanding and spray painting. Road tested the parts several hundred miles and they do not show signs of failure/fatigue as of yet. Realize that failure or malfunction of this part on an operating motorcycle may result in severe injury/death. How you print and use it is your decision. Use at your own risk.
