Fork Clamp for vice, 43mm 48mm
thingiverse
Use a regular > 4" vise to hold your forks when servicing them. I printed with PETG to make sure the spring remains flexible when opening and closing. Likewise the original design _Consider if it were a solid plastic block: When the fork clamp is compressed in the vice even with a perfect fit on the tube diameter, the pressure will occur mostly right in the middle of the tube hole if the block flexes at all. With an infill (not solid) that flexing will be more pronounced. So my intent was for the 4 holes to be little ridgid cylinders inside, so now when compressed, they compress the least and thus put pressure on 4 quadrants of the fork tube. Hope that makes sense._
