I've chosen environmental art as my area of focus and am striving to incorporate an array of materials into my study. My aim is to keep poly-count in check, which necessitates baking normals from high-poly meshes. Traffic lights caught my attention due to their intriguing shapes, making them a compelling subject for exploration. To inject some personality into this mundane theme, I decided to reimagine it as post-apocalyptic, a favorite motif of mine when it comes to games. This endeavor is also an opportunity to hone my skills in Maya and Substance Painter, as I'm transitioning from a background in Blender. One of my objectives is to master realistic PBR-style rendering, which has several motivations behind it. Any constructive feedback would be incredibly valuable to me at this stage.
