I think I've binge-watched too much Forged in Fire... Earlier, I felt restless and decided to take on this project. I didn't have silver filament readily available, so I chose a black blade instead; the pommel and finger guard are gold-plated, all printed with a .2 resolution. The grip is made of wood filament, printed at a higher .25 resolution and 70mm/s speed, resulting in more visible layer lines. To give it a wooden grain appearance, I lightly sanded the high spots to help the stain penetrate evenly. For optimal results, the blade should be printed with the flat side facing down and support underneath the tang. The handle was printed vertically. The parts fit together perfectly, no glue required! This project was an enjoyable experience; I'll be sharing more designs in the future! Thanks for taking a look!
