Forest House
sketchfab
The base concept for this scene originated from a challenge presented in one of VK's Blender learning groups, but since the course itself requires payment, I decided to use several final renders from other students as references instead. My scene is an implementation of this idea, featuring a small house situated in a woodland setting, constructed using lowpoly techniques. To bring my scene up-to-date, I added a car and electric-like lighting effects inside the building. Creating this project entirely from scratch took approximately 10 hours to complete. In this project, I experimented with texture paint mode and mirroring modifier for the first time. As lowpoly modeling is a new skillset for me, I'm pleased with the outcome, which was achieved by minimizing textured surfaces. The ground texture is a hand-painted combination of several high-quality and free textures sourced from Pinterest. Some of the building's textures also originated from Pinterest. The bricks were obtained from @scadl. This project was created using Blender 2.90.1 and rendered with Cycles.
