The head strap is threaded directly through to distribute weight evenly off the face. The side loops work in tandem to lift the weight up, and it's also compatible with the Vive Deluxe Audio strap. I use double-sided industrial velcro for the loops. For a customized fit, dip the print in hot water for 2 minutes, then gently press it against your skull until it sets. A custom fit creates the largest contact area for relief. I recommend two padding options: Option One: Simple Trace the part and cut out a fresh mouse pad. Glue it to the inside with krazy glue. Option Two: Advanced Find a padded case that sticks easily to velcro on the inside but has mesh on the outside. Cut out stencils and sew excess material over the edges. This creates washable padding with barbed velcro on the inside of the plate.
