I designed this straightforward mount in Fusion 360 to attach a flashlight to my AR15 rifle equipped with M16A2 and M4 plastic foregrips without wasting money on an overpriced rail. Since no other options were available, I created this simple design. Both Carbine and Rifle length versions are included because the sizes and optimal mounting locations differ significantly. The pegs should be inserted into the holes at the top and bottom of the handguards. I've only tested these designs on my own guns, so your results may vary; use caution when purchasing. The screw holes are made for M5 metric screws and nuts but can accommodate any fastener; avoid over-tightening. Secure the mount firmly without jiggling it, as excessive tension will likely cause damage.
