Forefinger Gripper Hand

Forefinger Gripper Hand

thingiverse

REVISED: Every forefinger and palm now available in right and left versions; every thumb resized into both right and left versions. 11/24/19 Palms will show up as non-manifold but print them anyway, it doesn't matter. 11/29/19 This hand is a variation on the snap talon group of designs that differs by offering a rigid forefinger in opposition to the elastic closure of the thumb. This makes for a very functional "passive" closure grip and an enhanced grip with three closing fingers perfect for items such as a broom handle. The thumb strap holds a pen or other small item securely. It attaches using the standard 1/2 inch FT bolt to any gauntlet designed for that setup. The thumb is slightly longer than the finger at the closure point, allowing one-handed operation by pushing the thumb tip against an opposing surface. Fingers can be used by elbow-, wrist- (coming soon), or e-arm activation.
