Forearm Padding and Lever for Kwawu Socket
thingiverse
These devices are designed specifically for Jacquin Buchanan's Kwawu Arm, adapting to its needs with a custom solution. We created them for one of our recipients whose arm stump was slightly too short, causing the prosthetic arm to slip every time they tried to lift it. To address this issue, we developed paddings that can be inserted into the kwawu and secured at the top using screws. These paddings provide improved levering and support within the forearm, making it easier for users to manage their prosthetic limb. You can download the STL file for printing or the SolidWorks file if you want to make adjustments and redesign the device to better suit your needs.
