Forearm joint for UnLimbited (prosthetic) Arm
thingiverse
The joint can be inserted into the forearm component of the Unlimbited Arm to allow it to be printed in two parts. This enables each part to be printed on a 3D printer with a limited size printbed. Recently, the joint was used to join a forearm for an adult that was approximately 300mm long, which was printed on an 8" x 8" printbed. The two subcomponents can be printed in PLA and joined using thick CA glue then thermoformed as usual. It's recommended to leave the joint for at least a day to set after gluing before thermoforming.
