This ongoing project aims to create a Ford Zetec engine replica with a current scale of 0.25, measuring approximately 165mm x 105mm x 141mm. However, due to initial unsuccessful test prints, the scale may be increased to 0.33 for better detail and easier assembly. The 0.33 scale will also require fewer dowel sizes. Completing this model requires numerous parts, including one rocker cover, block, head, camshaft, crankshaft, four conrods, pistons, gudgeon pins, bottom conrods, sump cover, and sump. The assembly instructions are available for download, with updates indicating a scale change to 0.33 on January 23rd, improved part fits, standardized dowel sizes, and a corrected print list.
