Ford Window Crank Knob

I fixed my 1996 Ford Ranger's broken window crank knob by creating a replica from the passenger side. It works perfectly and saved me $15 on an aftermarket replacement. This DIY fix may also work on other Fords with manual window cranks. To assemble, slide it onto the handle, then heat it up and shape it over the post from the backside. Secure it in place while allowing it to rotate freely. If you make one of these replicas, I'd love for you to share a photo or let me know how it turns out!
