My 1990 Ford Econoline Van E250 lost one of the stock front hood bumper inserts, so I replaced it with one I got from the auto-parts store. However, the insert that holds the bumper in the body is brittle plastic, and as soon as I shut the hood with any kind of force, the insert broke. FTIJPI! I printed this in NinjaFlex TPU. Print it upside-down with the top to the build-plate. NOTE: YOU NEED TO INSERT A PAUSE AT 7mm HEIGHT, while printing, to insert the nut from the broken insert. (be sure to measure your nut prior to printing, as well as the .STL, so you'll know it will fit) The fit in the van was tight - I had to knock it through the rectangular hole with a hammer, but at least I don't think it's coming out. I have no idea if this will work for you. I have included the .f3d file so if you need to remix it for your own use, feel free - All I ask is that you be kind and post your remix on Thingiverse so others can benefit. Possible Improvement: I was thinking of adding a couple flaps that would extend downward from the insert, such that, when the bolt is screwed in, it would force the flaps outward and then completely lock the insert into the van body. However, it seems solid enough without this.
