Ford Model A Roadster 1931 model
thingiverse
After spending some time refining this project, I finally reached a stage where I felt confident enough to share it with others. The finished product consists of 42 STL files, but keep in mind that two of them aren't actually part of the model itself. The "windscreen template" and the "rear indow template" were designed solely as guides for cutting transparent acetate or similar materials to use as glass for the windscreen and rear window, respectively. Additionally, you'll need to print five copies each of the "half internal wheel" and the "half external wheel", three copies of the "handle", and two copies of the "internal handle". Please note that while this model is inspired by the 1931 Ford Model A Roadster, it's not a perfect replica. Some details were omitted or altered to make it more printer-friendly, as I prioritized design time and printability over absolute accuracy. For example, the starter handle ("crank") was left out since the original car already had an electric starter. The engine parts are simplified, and the lower section is flat with minimal detail (it's not pretty, but it helps with printing the "main body"). The scale of this model is approximately 1:15, making it roughly 26 cm long or about 10 1/5 inches.
