After a while, I managed to bring this project to a decent stage and decided to share it with the world. The object consists of 42 STL files, but two of them aren't part of the model itself. The "windscreen template" and the "rear window template" are meant to be printed as guides for cutting transparent acetate or similar materials to use as "glass" for the windscreen and rear window. You'll need to print each half of the internal wheel five times, the external wheel five times, the handle three times, and the internal handle two times. Please note that the model was designed to resemble a 1931 Ford Model A Roadster but with some differences and missing details due to design time constraints. Several compromises were made between design time, result quality, and printability. For instance, I omitted the starter handle since the original car already had an electric starter. The engine parts are simplified, and the lower part is flat with minimal detail to facilitate printing the "main body." Scale-wise, the model is approximately 1:15, measuring about 10 inches long (26 cm) when completed. Print Settings: Printer: Anycubic I3 Ultrabase Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 25% Filament Brand: Anycubic Filament Color: White Filament Material: PLA Post-Printing Notes: Fenders, canopy, and bonnet thickness is approximately 1 mm, requiring brim or raft printing with supports but caution when removing them. Main body, half wheels, bumpers can be printed without brim or raft but need supports as well. For tiny parts like handles, brim is a must. License plates should be printed face up and parallel to the printer bed for readability.
