This is for a 1928 to 1931 Ford Model A front Radius Rod ball joint. I printed this as a temporary replacement for the rubber ball joint rubber that is normally used. I checked it after driving many hundreds of kilometres (18 months later) and surprisingly it still looks perfect. NOTE: There should be a small piece of felt that resides in the bell housing above the ball joint. My understanding is that the purpose of this is to absorb oil that leaks from the front of the gearbox, and normally drips on the ball joint to lubricate it (then drips on the road). I washed the felt out in degreaser, and it hasn't leaked since.... however if you have an extremely leaky gearbox you may want to drill a hole in the top half of the bush to prevent the bell housing filling with oil over time. If it becomes an issue on my car I'll modify the print with a hole in the top.
