Ford Master Cylinder Gasket/Bladder Spacer
thingiverse
I possess a sturdy 1977 Ford F-150 4x4 that I've outfitted with three brake master cylinders to date. Unfortunately, two of these have developed leaks. A crucial component for this setup should be placed beneath the cap and positioned atop the gasket or bladder rather than in direct contact with the master cylinder. PETG exhibits stability when paired with DOT3 brake fluid, as demonstrated by a chart attachment. To successfully print with PETG, it's essential to double the gap between the nozzle and bed. Conversely, for PLA printing, using one sheet of paper is sufficient; however, for PETG, two sheets are required. Update: As of June 8th, 2018, this spacer has effectively resolved my issues with a weeping master cylinder, and I'm pleased to report that it's now completely dry on the exterior.
