Ford Fusion (2013) purse hook
thingiverse
Recently, I purchased a new car for my wife but soon discovered that it lacked a convenient place to store her purse while driving. To solve this problem, I designed a car headrest hook attachment using OpenSCAD libraries. The hook is made of ABS (reactive red in color) and attaches between the seat and headrest. The hook can hold a fully loaded purse, including an iPad2 in an Otterbox case. Due to limited print bed size, I printed two shells with 25% infill for a 2-part design. Assembly involves using acetone to bond the parts together. A single part version is also possible but untested.
