On certain Ford F-150 and Expedition models from the 90's through 2000, and possibly other years as well, you'll find a convenient access hole in the lower front frame for servicing the lower A-arm bolt. This hole is cleverly shielded by a pop-out plastic cover that prevents debris like rocks, dirt, and mud from entering. Unfortunately, when I needed a replacement for the missing cover on my 1997 Expedition, I was unable to find the Ford factory part in stock or available anywhere else.
