Ford Focus-ST 2013-'18 rear bumper support

This is a replacement for the rear bumper support on the 2013-18 Focus-ST. It replaces part number CH51-A17B918-A or CM51-A17B918-AC. It fits on either right or left side. It is mounted on my 2014, but I am basing the other years on data from the internet. You will be stunned at the price from Ford, and the still-expensive junk yard parts tend to have various degrees of damage, especially at the top hole, as the parters don't seem to know how to drill out a pop rivet. This part is what breaks if you bump something backing into a parking space. I have now figured out how to add a reverse camera to use the factory dash display. It will not fit (too long) standard Foci, which use PN BM51-A17B918-A. This is similar, but not an exact duplicate of the factory part, but it fits perfectly in all the critical places, and has the same general shape. It is completely out of sight unless you are under the car, so any mismatch with the other side shouldn't be an issue. It mounts at the top (body side) with a 5mm bolt with locknut and body washers. Which will fit the hole in the sheet metal after you drill out the pop rivet. The lower hole (bumper) takes a 6mm bolt. The plastic on the replacement is a bit too thick to take the factory Tinnerman nut, but I found one at the hardware store that just fit. You could also use a locknut and big washer there as well. I ran the lower hole up through the body of the part, so the length of the lower bolt is not critical, as there is clearance for any extra length. I printed this in ABS as temperatures at this location can be pretty high, as it is close to hot pavement and just behind the muffler. Warping was an issue, and I ended up building an enclosure in order to get a successful print. I used supports from the build plate....not sure how it could be respun to eliminate the need, and still accept the fasteners.
