Inspired by this phone holder https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3237384 (Thanks Gerie!) I made this CD-slot mounted phone holder for my Ford Fiesta Mk7, which is indeed a nightmare to mount a phone in. The phone holder was designed for a Samsung s21 FE with a bumpercase around it, and is mounted in portrait orientation. It will fit any phone with a length up to 161mm and a thickness of max 12.5mm. The USB port is accessable, so are the side buttons when they are facing down.The STEP-model and SolidWorks part is available so you'll be able to adjust it to your own phone size or use it as a base for other projects. When the phone is in the holder, view of the radio screen is obstructed, without the phone it is clearly visible. A plastic clip clicks inside a slot to prevent the holder from sliding out. I added this clip in three sizes, the thick one is hard to remove (for permanent use), the thinnest version is easy to remove by hand. You can pick the one you like best. I printed the holder in PLA at first, but a single sunny day was enough to destroy it. Better to use ABS or another filament that can withstand higher temperatures.
