Ford F100 Monstertruck simplified CNC Model "Tamiya Midnight Pumpkin"
thingiverse
This is a simplified, wooden model of a 1954 Ford F100 monster truck, inspired by the famous Tamiya RC model "Midnight Pumpkin". It's based on my F100 pickup truck and designed to be milled from 8mm plywood. For the axles, you'll need 6mm aluminum rod, along with spacers that have an inner diameter of 6mm and a height of 5mm to get the wheels away from the chassis. (Printed spacers also work just fine!) The wheels are 3D printed and consist of three parts; I used PLA for this with a layer height of 0.1mm and 10% infill, and then painted the rim separately. Note that this model can't be cut with a laser cutter! To see the comments and remarks in the *.DXF file, open it with an application other than "Estlcam" - Estlcam doesn't show the text. Have fun building this monster truck! You can find the F100 normal version here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3289646. I'd like to extend special thanks to ZenziWerken, who helped me out with this model by optimizing the DXF files; check him out for more awesome CNC models!
