Made this dock to hold my iPhone in my truck for CarPlay purposes. It requires you have the center console but still have a column shifter as it goes in the red circled space shown. I used a couple of command strips on the back to hold it in place and it's a snug fit. The standard iPhone charging cable fits perfectly into the cutout after routing down under. I was going to drill a hole into the area with the USB ports but instead I just looped it around and into the USB area. My iPhone 8 Plus fits perfectly, the iPhone 7 Plus and 6 Plus may fit too as I know the 8 is a bit thicker.
