Ford Explorer (Exploder) single DIN storage pocket

We swapped out our double DIN stock radio for a single DIN unit, leaving behind an empty space that cried out for creative filling. To bridge the gap, I crafted a custom storage pocket inspired by those found on Amazon or auto supply stores, but tailored specifically for our Ford Explorer. If you're eager to design your own version, note that it should measure 180mm wide by 50mm deep (across the front face) and extend 110mm into the space. Be aware that depth is not a standard component of the DIN specification (ISO 7736), so double-check your vehicle's measurements before proceeding. Most aftermarket radios typically range from 200mm in depth, making this design a snug fit for nearly all applications.
