This is a replacement for the plastic on an old Ford Escort key. The first image shows the broken original on the left and the printed one on the right. Recommendations for the build: - Print with ABS and use acetone on the pins for extra sturdiness. - Use 15% support to ensure stability. - Opt for 100% infill to make it more solid. - Add a 5 Lines Brim for a secure base. Edit: - Consider printing a little larger, like at 105%, as the gap for the metal is slightly too small. - Print with 100% and heat the metal before insertion, which worked out well. - The pins are not necessary and can be quite long if support isn't removed completely.
