Ford Escape Replacement Battery Cover: A Frustrating Experience I recently attempted to source a replacement battery cover for my Ford Escape, but I was met with frustration when I couldn't find a part number on the official Ford website, according to my local dealership. Currently, this design is still in the works-in-progress stage. I haven't printed it or scaled it to size yet. The OEM paper filter costs a steep $50, which seems excessive for an item that needs replacement every year. Fortunately, I found a three-pack available on eBay for $40. However, these filters lack tab holes, so you'll need to create your own or find an alternative solution. My car doesn't have them, so I'm opting for duct tape as a temporary fix.
