Redesigned socket for removing difficult or stuck Ford coolant caps. The biggest difference here is the use of a hex head, which provides more gripping area for a 19mm ratchet wrench or socket, and resolves the issue of square drives stripping and rounding out. The outside of the updated socket also has smoothed lugs for a comfortable grip while spinning the cap off. These sockets were designed with hand tools in mind, they have been tested with mini impacts but are by no means power-tool approved This coolant cap has been adopted on most modern Ford engines.
