Ford Accelerator Pedal Extension (2013)

Ford Accelerator Pedal Extension (2013)

thingiverse

This is an extension for the accelerator of a 2013 era ford car, tested in an escape and a c-max. This extends the height and length of the pedal by 40mm each. Post print: Remove any support, then spray with plati-dip to add grip (optional?) Mounting: There are three complimentary mounting mechanisms making the mount very secure. 1: 12.5mm (1/2 inch) VHB tape should be mounted in the grooves on the back. This stops sliding of the extender. 2: The hook at the top extends around the pedal to provide strength against the pushing of the foot. 3: Three zip ties mount through the print and under the pedal. This keeps the VHB tape in compression, and stops the extension from being lifted accidently by your foot. Tips: Ensure that the pedal is cleaned with alcohol first to make the VHB tape stick well.
