Completed the first car, which combines Pinewood Derby and PrintABlok parts. This car could be custom build, with many (to come) items, like guns, wings and other stuff and some more car bodies. PrintABlok is a free to use connection element, developed by Joe Larson. You could try it here. It's also advisable to use the new_printablok_key, for more easy connector removal. There are plenty (free) printablok items available on the internet for decorating your car. The car is still compatible with the official BSA Pinewood Derby rules, so could be used during official races. Would be a nice birthday activity for young kids, building different cars and start racing. Still need to build a 2 lane 10 meter wooden derby track.. Will be the next project I guess. Once you have finished this Ford Coupe, it's time for some more car designs, including some rad rods. Also download the free gas-lands accessories, for pimping all your hot rods. :)
