I suggest using PETG or ABS for printing, but I wouldn't recommend PLA due to its tendency to sag and warp with heat. This material doesn't require supports since all overhangs are concealed. For optimal results, aim for a 20% infill rate with at least three perimeters. This design was created specifically for my 2016 Focus ST, but it should fit numerous other vehicles as well. One of the slots is perfect for wires, while you can easily create the second one using a Dremel or drill. The Metra 825605 was the inspiration behind this project, but it wasn't designed with minimal filament usage in mind. Instead, it focuses on long-term durability and strength.
