The Ford spec is pushrods must have less than 0.010" run-out. This fixture helps measure that with the use of a dial indicator. Required parts: - Dial indicator - 10-24 screw to clamp the dial indicator - 4x 8-32 screws to hold the fixture together The dial indicator hole is slightly undersized, so run a 3/8 drill bit through it to clean it up. The 10-32 and 8-24 screws tap directly into the material, no inserts. Should hold well enough for this use. A tap works best, but I think forcing the threads in with a screw should also work.
