Forces in Junctions
grabcad
This project demonstrates dynamic simulations within Autodesk Inventor 2014, featuring a crank, two levers, two forks, and a support. The imposed motion on the green crank lasts for 10 seconds, with acceleration from 0 to 30 rotations per minute (180 degrees per second) in the initial 2 seconds, followed by a decrease to zero in the final 2 seconds. Compression springs contribute to the overall forces at play within the system. Two revolution-type junctions depict force evolution in forks, and users can access .iam and .ipt files for further exploration if using Inventor. Basic knowledge of working with Dynamic Simulation module is advised, as is observing the simulation for an enjoyable experience.
