Forbidden Planet Book Strap

I keep sketchbooks and notebooks handy, always have since grade school. The problem is loose pages and sketches falling out everywhere. This one's got the United Planets logo from the Forbidden Planet C57-D cruiser on it. I bought heavy-duty elastic at a craft store and measured it to fit my books and tablets. Then I passed it through the slots and stitched it closed. I used SVG InkScape for the graphic, Tinkercad for the STL file for printing, and Mona (my Makerbot 2x) to print it out white. After that, I painted the logo red. Did you know that the bosses at MGM were so disappointed with the animation department's work on the Id monster in Forbidden Planet that they brought in Disney animators to do the creature? All rights go to Warner Bros. and MGM, of course. This is a fan-made production not for commercial use or profit.
